Large Wall Mask by Goldscheider

Hand painted terracotta art deco wall mask made by Goldscheider in 1937/38 . Similar can be seen in the Ora Pinhas book p169 and in the Phillip Goldscheider book model number is 8269/3. Marked to the reverse Goldscheider Wien and also stamped Made in Germany. This dates it to being made in 1937 and still in stock when the Nazis took over the company and then impressed it Made in Germany.

13 inches high (33cm).
