L’Automne by Guerbe. A ceramic craquelier statue, produced by the Le Verrier foundry in the 1920’s, signed to the back base panel Guerbe. Raymonde Guerbe was the wife of Pierre Le Faguays. I also have this same lady in terracotta (F1229).
There were two statues made – this Autumn one and another Printemps (Spring) version. One could buy either or as a pair. Produced I believe by the Le Verrier foundry.
12.5 inches high (31.5cm).
