French art metal statuary group made by the Le Verrier foundry. Medieval maiden and horse. The statue is mounted on a black marble base which is signed Le Jan. Also shown is an original negative from the Le Verrier foundry showing the statue and one with a rearing horse.

Le Jan was a pseudonym used by Lemoine
