French art deco bronze statue by Joe Descomps (1889 – 1950) mounted on a portorro marble base with a central bronze panel of a torchere urn.
She is holding two alabaster urns. Signed to the marble.

Her title is Young Slave. Edited by Etling PARIS. (1925 edition font).
19.5 inches (50cm) high, 7 inches wide (18cm). The bronze measures 13.5 inches (34cm) high.
In good vintage condition with a couple of small old repair chips to the marble base.
Emmanuel Jules Joseph Descomps – Joé Descomps or Descomps-Cormier, was a French sculptor and goldsmith, born January 18, 1869 in Clermont-Ferrand and died April 24, 1950 in Paris.
