French Art Deco Dinanderie bronze 3 piece clock set by Rochard.

With bronze spotted leopards – having dinanderie patina and bronze leopard panels to each of the matching garnitures.

Rochard also made a version of this clcok st with pheasant detail and a kess ornate clcok face ewhich was unsigned.

The clock case is made of cream and Rosso marble.

The clock face is made of a  pearlised phenolic material with a hand painted tiger on it and Signed Theva. The numerals are in Art Deco font.

Indistinctly signed to each of the panthers back feet –  Rochard

Circa 1930.

15.5 inches (39cm) high, 18.5 inches (47cm) wide, 5 inches (12.5cm) deep. Each garniture measures 11 inches (28cm) high, 4.5 inches (11.5cm) wide, 3.5 inches (9cm) deep.

A very rare find.

I have only ever seen one other of this leopard clock and that was one I had 30 years ago but the face was not as ornate as this one and with no tiger on it and unsigned.
