A large 1920s French art deco wrought iron and opaque glazed panelled pedestal.
Surmounted with a cubist stylised open mouthed fish, with further fish detailed to three of the pedestal sides.
With silver painted highlights. Unsigned and artist unknown.
52.75 inches (134cm) high, 11 inches (28cm) square.
From Sothebys New York 2002. Previously the Dallas Museum of Art and prior to that, the collection of Patsy Lacy Griffin.
In good vintage used condition.
Recently rewired and fitted with a on/off foot switch.
