Fabulous French red and black galalith and snake chain tassel necklace. Made in Paris by Guillemette L’Hoir and signed to the reverse. Dates to around the 1970’s. L’Hoir jewellery can be viewed in the Paris Museum of Jewellery. Many of the designs were based on original jewellery of the 1920’s by Auguste Bonaz.
The central pendant section is black and has chrome chain tassel detail. It measures approximately 4.5 inches long (11cm).
The total length of the chinky snake chain is 23 inches (59cm).
Condition is excellent.
