Panthere by Lavroff

French cream crackle glaze art deco ceramic panther by Georges Lavroff (1895 – 1991).

This same statue was also produced as a bronze.

Similar ones can be seen in the Lavroff book which is no longer in print.

Signed G. Lavroff to the base.

19 inches (48.4cm) long by 5 inches (12.5cm) high.

Condition is very good with just a couple of tiny edge nicks to the glaze and a slight variation to the glaze to the middle of his tail.
