Penguin Lamp – Costebelle

Lampe aux Pingouins, a French art deco glass lamp by Costebelle, circa 1930.

A frosted, opalescent glass screen decorated with relief moulded penguins, with a background glass screen stencil etched with an Antarctic mountain scene.

Set on a metal base with lamps ton the centre.

Costebelle signature raised to left side of the glass panel.

Very good condition.

14.5 inches (37cm) wide, 4 inches (10cm) deep, 12.5 inches (31cm) high.
