Wonderful Strike-Lite monkey cigarette box and lighter with chrome knob, enamelled geometric patterning and grey metal base. Made by Ronson circa 1934. The base usually contains the Ronson stamp but this one has lost its base over the years and has been replaced with card covered in felt. I also have the penguin box. Squeeze the lever to the front and the monkey will pick up a cigarette from the drawer for you.
Condition is good with age related marks and slight rusting as one would expect. It comes with a striker wand.
It measures 5 inches (13cm) high, 9 inches (23cm) wide and 6 inches (15cm) deep.
