A French art deco craquelier of a Pierrot by Max Le Verrier. Cream glaze and signed to the base under the glaze and produced in the late 1920s/early 1930s
Produced when due to the war metal was hard to get hold of so many ceramic and terracotta pieces were made.
This very same statue is featured in the Le Verrier book on page 33.
17 inches (43cm) high, 8 inches (20cm) wide and 4.5 inches (12cm) deep.
The condition is very good.
