This plaster moquette of a Pierrot came from the Max Le Verrier collection. It was discovered when emptying a barn at the now sold Le Verrier family home. This is probably a prototype that never went into production.
There is a signature on the base that looks like Joanny-Dunand but cannot be sure.
It is a one off and Le Verrier family owned piece.
Circa 1920s.
16 inches (41cm) high.
Good condition with signs of age.
