Rare Number Plate Topper

A first edition metal number plate topper from the USA, featuring the marlin with the original sprung eyeball – apparently this identifies it as a first edition and dates it to 1948. The attached number plate from the Sunshine State is included in the price. The original wing nut is still attached to the eyeball bolt.

Very good condition with some paint loss to the letter H.
