Relief Panels from the Le Verrier Archives

This pair of male and female panels have come from the archives of the Max Le Verrier Atelier. Each is set in relief in its original wooden frame. They are made of plaster. Very stylish and geometric and stylised in art deco style. One shows a man in long monk style robes holding a book with a dove above his head. The other shows a lady in long robes again with a dove above her head. I believe these panels to be unique and are from the 1930s.

Good vintage condition.

19 inches (44.8cm) wide, 63 inches (160cm) high.
