Rare English Rolinx cigarette box.
Made of phenolic material with leather side panels in dark green on cream.
The top is amazing – Magic, even! You roll the lid back and remove the front panel, inside are 5 slots to hold a number of cigarettes in each, fill them up and close the lid, now every time you roll the lid back 5 arms pop out which hold cigarettes.
Inside there is another green leather panel to the front that reads M.A.C. (Chiswick) Precision Engineering ltd and Phone CH1 2842.
I believe this box dates to the 1940’s possibly 1950’s.
5.5 inches (14cm) long.
Condition is verity good and working.
