Scotty Dog Trinket Dish by Dankarner

Fabulous macassar ebony French trinket dish with a Rac the terrier carved wooden dog on the side.

The dog has phenolic eyes and a metal tongue which we believe could be a key hook.

This dog was probably modelled as Rac the terrier from the famous Pol Rab Ric and Rac cartoon series.

Signed Dankarner to the underside of the base.

Very good vintage condition.

6 inches (15cm) wide, 4.25 inches (11cm) deep, 5.75 inches (14.5cm) high.
