Rare free standing Art Deco bust by Goldscheider – a lady with sausage curls and cut out eyes.
Usually seen as a wall mask but this one mounted on an ebonised wooden base as a bust.
Marked inside the mask Goldscheider Wien and model number 6427.
This can be seen as a wall plaque on page 170 and 168 of the Onu book and page 431 in the Goldscheider book.
Designed by Rudolf Knoerlein in 1932.
Total height including the base is 12.5 inches (32cm) and the height of the mask alone is 10 inches (25.5cm).
Condition is very good with some minor wear and paint loss to the wooden base.
