A rare art deco hand painted ceramic dancer statue as a table lamp – Often seen as a statue but rarely as a table lamp.
Designed by Stephan Dakon in 1933.
Titled – stehende tanzarin mit grobem hut und handschuhen (standing woman with hat and gloves).
Model number 6757.
Marked under the base with Goldscheider Wien and signed Dakon.
The lamp comes complete with its original shade which needless to say over the period of time is a little aged and stained.
Model can be seen as a statue on page 143 of the Onu book.
The height of the figure is 17.5 inches (45cm) high.
Condition is very good.
