Huge French silvered bronze art deco statue known as the Carrier Pigeon.
Signed to the top of the marble “Gennarelli”.
Circa 1925 and made in 3 sizes – this is the largest one. The 3 sizes are 14.5 inches (37cm) high, 22.5 inches (57cm) high and 34 inches (86.5cm) high!
A similar one can be seen in the Catley book on page 154.
Mounted on a tall Belgian black marble base.
The base measures 7 inches (17.5cm) wide, 5.5 inches (14cm) deep.
The condition is very good with a few small age related nicks to the marble due to age and its heavy weight.
