Very rare huge art deco silvered bronze statue known as The Chase.
Made in France circa 1925, made in 3 sizes this being the largest.
Modelled as Diane hunting deer that are leaping over cacti plants.
Signed to the right hand end of the base in the bronze.

34 inches (86cm) long, 16 inches (40cm) high,
6 inches (15cm) deep.
This same model can be seen in the Catley book on page 154. I sold this to a private collector 20 years ago and it has now come back into my hands.
I have not seen another one since so I would say a very rare piece.
Condition is exceptionally good.
