The Dolly Sisters by Goldscheider

Austrian art deco ceramic statue of dancing barefoot Dolly Sisters by Dakon for Goldscheider.

Mounted on black diamond shaped base.

Signed on the top of the base Dakon.

Stephan Dakon was a freelance statuary designer who did designs for several different companies including Goldscheider. He also made metal statues in spelter, bronze and chryselaphantine (bronze and ivory). His work was very similar to the work of Lorenzl who also did designs for Goldscheider.

Signed underneath Goldscheider and marked with the model number 5612/171/4.

This same lady was also produced as a single figure.

11 inches (27.5cm) wide, 15.75 inches (40cm) high.
