An original French oil on board from the archives of the Le Verrier family. A deign for a fountain head. By Max Le Verrier or possibly his son Jean Paul Le Verrier and stamped to the reverse –  Le Verrier.  Unframed. To the reverse it is marked in pencil October 1940 Ecole des beaux arts le Toulouse. Signed Le Verrier to the top corner.

Good vintage condition with the board showing signs of wear. Needs framing.

20 inches (51cm) wide, 24 inches (61cm) high.
