The Masked Ball by Caurines

Rare French silvered bronze figural group of a masked ball. The man is holding a theatrical mask with a lady dramatically kneeling at his feet. Mounted on a marble base.

Signed indistinctly in the marble to one end of the base – either Caurines or Causines. Condition is good with some expected ageing to the patina.

15 inches (38cm) high, 16 inches (41cm) wide and 7 inches (17.5cm) deep.
