The Nubian Dancer by Chiparus

French bronze Nubian dancer by Demetre Chiparus. Circa 1925

Mounted on a stepped rosso marble base with an indistinctly signed bronze plaque to the front and also signed D H Chiparus to the top of the marble base.

Similar can be seen in the Chiparus book, page 22.

7.75 inches (20cm) wide, 2.75 inches (7cm) deep, 15.25 inches (38.5cm) high.

In very good condition with just a couple of marble nicks due to age – as one would expect.
