Bazzony, Alberto – 1889-1973 Italian artist, attended the Academia in Parma and studied under the Sculptor Gino Spalmach. Executed many war memorials after the first world war. During 1928-1931 he decorated the central station in Milan. In 1936 he produced the famous relief ‘The fall of Lucifer’ in the Milanese Palace of Justice. He worked until just after the second world war. He is famous for his stylised modernist works which are all of exceptional quality. In my opinion – a genius.
27 inches (69cm) long by 4 inches (10cm) deep and 8.5 inches (22cm) high.
