A modernist American satin nickel Cigarette box, made by the Chase company in 1934, model number 841. Its title was the Rollaround box, as its ball bearing feet ‘allow it to be rolled across a table top without marring the surface’. Inside is lined in a wood veneer and there are 3 compartments. The top is etched with concentric circles with a composition black handle. It was designed to hold 60 cigarettes.
In good vintage condition with just a couple of old age related marks.
