Rare Art Deco chryselaphantine (bronze and ivory) statue know as the Venetian by Andre Vincent Becquerel.
Circa 1930 – signed A Becquerel and Etling foundry.
Classical lady walking with her Borzois.
She has ivory head and hands and enamelled dinanderie detailing to her cape and she wears a tricon hat.
Base is made of checkerboard marble.
It measures 15.5 inches (39cm) high, 11.5 inches (29cm) wide, 6.5 inches (16.5cm) deep.
Condition is very good with a couple of tiny edge nibbles to the marble as one would expect.
