Woodpecker Desk Set – Franjou

A cute spelter and marble deskset, signed by the French sculptor Franjou. The spelter bird and inkwell have a bronzed patina and the bird appears to have glass eyes. The base is of white striated black marble and cream onyx. The inkwell is missing its liner and has possibly had its hinge removed, as the lid just sits on the inkwell.

Good condition with minor nibbles to the marble edge. 

9 inches (23cm) high, 5 inches (13cm) deep, 7 inches (18cm) high.
