Yerna – Large Ceramic Deer

French ceramic deer with speckled grey and red glaze, signed J. Yerna to the front of the base and made in Bordeaux.

Condition is good with just two tiny chips – one to one of the ears and the other to one corner of the base.

A further study of a panther by Yerna can be viewed in the Les Craqueles book p136.

27 inches (69cm) long, 4.75 inches (11cm) deep and 14 inches (36cm) high.
