A collaboration and well-known etching by Jean Dupas and Andre Maillart, after the famous mythological tale.

Inscribed and numbered ‘Le taureau noir (The Black Bull) 45/200’ (lower left)

This work will be included in the Jean Dupas catalogue raisonné currently being prepared by Mr. Romain Lefebvre, founder of the Galerie Lefebvre and an expert on the work of Jean Dupas.

The drawing measures 28 inches (71cm) high, 33.75 inches (86cm) wide and the frame measures 33.5 inches (85cm) high and 39.5 inches (100.5cm) wide.

Excellent condition.
